| Canadian Show Jumping Riders Named for North American Junior and Young Rider Championships | | Print | |

July 26, 2010 — Jump Canada has announced the show jumping riders that
will represent Canada at the 2010 Adequan FEI North American Junior and
Young Riders’ Championship. Presented by Gotham North, these
Championships will be held July 28-August 1 at the Kentucky Horse Park
in Lexington, KY, which is also the site of the upcoming 2010 Alltech
FEI World Equestrian Games. Team and individual honours will be awarded
in two divisions for show jumping, Junior (open to riders aged 14 to
18) and Young Riders’ (for riders aged 16-21).

Junior division
The 2010 edition marks the fifth time that a Junior Championship will be held in conjunction with the Young Riders’ Championship. In 2009, the Ontario Junior Show Jumping Team won the bronze medal in the Junior division while Joelle Froese of Abbotsford, BC, won the individual bronze medal in the Young Riders’ division aboard Condor.
